Hello all I have just received a letter from Mr. Andrew Eubanks School Business Administrator and Board Secretary that individuals attending the youth basketball events that are held at Kinigsway have been seen smoking both in the building and outside the building. We need have all coaches make sure there parents aware that there is a policy at Kingsway that there is no smoking on any of there grounds. We need to respect this policy if want to continue to use there facilities for our basketball program.

It appears that this happened on Thursday January 13th. If that is the case we only had three teams at any Kingsway facility that day Mike Cannon's Sr Boys A played Gibbstown and Coach Agar Sr Boys C and Coach Southard's Sr boys C played.

Pete Orio can you please reach out to all Boys Coaches in the 5th and 6th grade program as well as the 7th and 8th grade program and have them inform there parents of this no smoking policy both in the school and on the schools grounds.

Mike Hahn can you do the same for the girls coaches.

Again this could have been caused by an opposing teams parents but we are responsible for there actions as we are the ones in charge of enforcing the rules and regulations that the school gives us to follow in order to use these facilities. Please have the coaches assign a parent to walk around during the end of each quarter to make sure that no one is smoking on the schools grounds.

Hello all

We have been having serious issues during practices and games at both the Mickle and Clark facilities. We have had children entering teacher's classrooms, running and playing ball in the hall, ripping bulletin boards down and throwing the paper all over the gym, leaving the gym a mess by not throwing out our empty water bottles and being rude to the school janitor's. This activity needs to stop now. Please remember that it is our privilege to use these facilities which can be taken away at any time. Starting immediately I need everyone's help. If any parent sees any child running in the halls, or playing ball in the halls we need to have that behavior stopped and ask the child to go back into the gym. I we observe any vandalism we need to address the person doing and and stop the behavior. At each practice and game we need a parent stationed at the opening of the gym and make sure no one is wondering or playing in the hallways. We need everyone to please treat the school and its property as if it were our own homes and if anyone is damaging any of the property or bulletin boards report it to the coach immediately. Coaches we all need to help with this and if anything is brought to our attention deal with it even if it means stopping our game. Again some of the problems may be the result of the opposing team but we are ultimately responsible for there actions as we are the ones in charge of the facilities. Coaches I need you to be the last person in the gym during any practice or game and make sure that the gym is free and clear of all trash and benches and clocks are put away. Coaches please call a parent meeting and discuss these issues with all parents.

I want to thank everyone for there assistance in this as we have had a lot of issues this year and as I previously stated this behavior needs to stop immediately if we want to continue to use the facilities.
